Happy Chinese New Year to all of you. Hope your CNY has been a good one. This CNY has been a rather tiring affair for me. Perhaps I was sleeping very late every night, hence leading to dull skin and dark eye circles.

But anyway, the usual visiting and feasting begins from the eve eve of CNY:

Mypaper had a company lunch at Orchard Hotel Hua Ting. Arranged by my boss, it was of course a big feast at a special price! Our team filled two tables and there was deer meat in goose liver sauce, sharks fins in crab roe soup etc, and the usual lo hei session.

Then come CNY eve where it will always be reunion lunch with the paternal family, and reunion dinner with the maternal family.

Wonder why, but this year, both sides has not enough rice for all! -.- is there a shortage of rice or we have just been eating too much? So my rice for lunch and dinner is only one scoop with lotsa dishes.

Lunch: curry chicken, hainanese chap chai, chicken, 1 fried fish (to share among 10 youngsters), one fried egg (they realise there were not enough food also, so the aunties last minute fried an egg! GG)

Took a OW family photo before Da Gu Ma leaves for China for holiday the next day.


So dinner: BIG fish, prawns (and lotsa it in two dishes), sea cucumber, prawn rolls, chicken, duck, etc. Alot. Alot. Alot.

And after dinner we got to prepare to welcome the God of Fortune!

Nice right, whalou eh, do u know it's damn hard to cut out the "Chun" word? It took me 15 mins just to cut one and i gave up. HAHA. I cut one, go down meet Ephraim, come back and they are done! Good job! :p

Last but not least, tadeh! pineapple tarts from Ephraim! I told him to buy me pineapple tarts and he really went to source for it! How sweet, it's made by his mummy's friend! Flaky and yummy!~

So the praying and watching tv ended at 1AM.

CNY DAY 1
Basically my CNY has alot of rest time. I oke up at 10am, makaned, talked to my cousins and aunties who visited us as I waited for Daddy and Mummy to come and pick me.

Si Ma Lu for prayers and see people squeeze people.

Then come back, took a 2 hours nap and get ready for the gathering of paternal family at San Gu Ma's place aka An's house. This has to be the one and only reason why I need to buy pretty CNY clothes. Just for this occasion. Without this annual affair, my CNY is boring. So the "adults"...

Cousin Ruo Yuan had this very tootie specs and all of us were "forced" to take a picture with it. So that's tingting....

Went home at 10pm. Ah yi and i stayed up till 2AM to watch 200 pounds beauty.

CNY DAY 2
Basically it starts off with more visiting with the maternal family. Then came back home by 3pm and took my beauty nap again before heading to River AngBao with the family.

It's held in Floating Platform. There wasn't much this year, abit disappointed. :(

I bought a durian nian gao from peony jade at keppel club so after the river ang bao, anyi accompanied me there to take the nian gao. and omfg, keppel club is damn ulu and dark adn quiet, we reached there around 930pm and it was so scary...

After collection, went home to catch CJ7 till 130am.

CNY DAY 3
Having holiday at cny day 3 is a plus point cuz usually all of us has to start work on day 2. So fungie and i went marina barrage and river ang bao to take photos!~

Yup that's my CNY. I have been trying to upload to FB but failed. Perhaps the whole world is uploading their CNY pics and fb has become so laggy.

Then met wen hao *ahem* with fungie for dinner. This cousin of mine still treat us to $90++ sizzler and sent us home! *ahem* fungie, *cough* can consider! LOL

Tiger year, gosh 24 years old. it arrives to fast. it just seems like yesterday that i celebrated my 21st birthday.

Anyway, back to work. JIA YOU JIA YOU! Waiting for the next long holiday to arrive...er.... when....?

我犹豫了一下。我觉得我自己永远不够聪明，人也不够老实。

Done by Aunty Anna and bought a clay mask from her to control my oil. Did it again yesterday at Tampines because I was asked to review and write for the beauty salon. It's a living cell therapy and they included eye massage! And i also went for the slimming treatment! Got naval candling, and the therapist said I have 2KG of oil and shit in my tummy, usually people only have 1kg. ROCKS, IM SO FULL OF SHIT!

- New clothes CHECKED
Shopping done at City Plaza & Bugis with Lishan. I thought I bought ALOT (Oh, no new lingerie yet), but after looking through, it wasn't alot. Haha. Wait, I didn't see my Bugis clothes in my wardrobe. Hello aunty, where are my clothes from Bugis? Did u lose them?

- B. Waxing / Makeup CHECKED
Went Kerry there again, and bought mineral makeup from her. It's the first time Im buying mineral makeup, DAMN COMFORTABLE! Suits lazy people like me who is too lazy for any makeup, just splash some powder on my face and Im done! Love Love! :D

- Shoes CHECKED
FINALLY bought a pair from Pazzion. Nude is the new favourite now, so i got a pair of size 34 nude heels. They don't have my size in Bishan branch so they have to deliver from Wisma. I predict it's gona be painful. rah!

- Pedicure CHECKED
Supported Krist and did a nude + black + pokka dots combi. Sexy look with lotsa bling blings! Got photos, but I left it at home.

- Work CHECKED
Whatever that has to be done before CNY is done. Ok lah, frankly I don't have the mood to do anything now anymore! I hope I don't have to worry about it during CNY, i hope. I asked uncle, cousin & an SRMC student to perform for my company's CNY event too!

- House CHECKED
Spring cleaning is definitely not by me. I will pack until it gets more messy. Just that I have bought the decorations and turn my house into a Cartoonish red interior, with pooh bear, hello kitty & tiger beer!

- Gathering CHECKED
Called Sister yesterday to confirm the reunion lunch on Saturday and reunion dinner on CNY Day 1. This girl is getting prettier and she is wearing a red dress to reunion dinner while I have decided to wear high waist shorts and slippers! HAHA. And perhaps get a LO-HEI for the Ow Family on Saturday. (She is celebrating her birthday the weekend after CNY, have to brainstorm a gift for her already...)

人生每个阶段会有不同的朋友，就像人生每个阶段会爱上不同的人一样。有些人会从我的生活中淡出，也有一些人会进入我的人生。

有相聚，也就有离别。哭肿了眼睛，流下再多的泪水，一转身，生活还是要继续，我还是会带着微笑面对人生。是生活逼使我成长，也是生活使我不得不放下心中的牵挂。

我们从来就没有自己以为的那么多情。

这是自己做的黄梨挞。回到家后，黄梨变成金枕头一样硬。虽然如此，我还是那么爱吃。
没有那么多情，可是还是会痴情。

周六去参加活动。我不是上面那些参赛者，而是在下面访问他们的人。他们每一对都有自己动人的故事，有些年龄相差很大、有些则是不同种 族、优胜的情侣居然是在巴士站相遇而结缘，今年底将步入礼堂。

这整个活动，有许许多多让我非常感动的画面。当男士们对他们人生里重要的女人表达爱的宣言时，虽然是单单的几句话，可是那一刻的每个 眼神、每个手势，都足以让全场感受到了爱。能够从最初阶段一直走到最后是很难的的，一切只好留给缘分。

衷心祝福他们每一位，也请你们不要忘了阅读明天的《我报》，看看他们怎么在舞台争霸斗艳，读读优胜情侣那美丽的相遇。

家里新年每次都会做 cornflakes 和蜜蜂巢。这是两个无聊人说的无聊笑话。可是，每天这点点滴滴的无聊话总让我笑得合不容嘴。总是擦肩而过其实不是一件坏事，至少在彼此的脑海里，对方是最完美的。控制一下自己的好奇心吧，就像好友说的：“享受现在。”

几天前，facebook里突然出现了这张小一的群体照片，连日来就忙着和小学同学叙旧。

翻起旧的回忆，把丑事和趣事都一一漏出来，真的挺有意思的。小学一年级到现在，都有17年了。而且小三分班后大家都在不同的班级，所以没有人和彼此有联络。有些名字看起来眼熟，却又听起来陌生。不过这种感觉真的很好，找回童年的伙伴，勾起那纯真的记忆。

PINEAPPLE HEAD

2AM. I woke up at 2AM yesternight, breaking in cold sweat. No, I didn't have nightmare. But I have a dream that I want to escape.

So I woke up at 6AM and head for the gym before going to work. That was actually in my plans lah, since CNY is coming real soon. I shall be more active for this two weeks before I gobble more pineapple tarts.

My foot has seriously shrunk for no reason. I used to be able to wear size 36 in all major shoestores. AND NOW, I have to buy size 34! Fuck. Aunty, Ah Gong and I went to roam around j8 on friday to find a pair of nice shoes for me. But ALL TOO BIG and they don't have size 34! How sad can.

Not believing i cant get a perfect shoe for my feet, I met Fungie on Sat to try my luck again. Promod, New Look, Mitju, etc and haiz, either not to my liking or don't have my size. Last stop at Aldo and still have to put on in-sole.

In the end didnt buy cuz its freakin $155!

Went AMIT Live Concert @ Singapore Indoor Stadium thereafter. I admit I am not a Ah mei fan at all, so I wasn't as enthusiastic as the other people. And most of the songs I don't know, so throughout the 3 hours, I just sit there and listen, screaming occasionally to join in the fun that's all. AND MARTY FRIEDMAN THE GUITARIST IS DAMN COOL!

Ok, yes i chopped off my hair. Basically I showed my hairdresser this:

I am a rather fussy customer when it comes to hair. I have a thin layer of fine hair and any wrong cut will be v drastic on my head. So frankly, hairdressers are always very stressful BUT careful when cutting my hair. I like challenges and fun BUT at the same time, I am worried. So not many can stand my worried look and the stressful vibes that I give out during the cut. HAHA.

Don't ask me why I xiang bu kai. I just got very tired of the usual girl girl style and want something different. And I won't be happy if I come out the salon with no changes! hee

Went to Raw Kitchen with Ade last night to give her a birthday treat. The food is seriously yummy. Real Yummy. I will celebrate my birthday there next time.

I bought this book to read. The movie will be out in end of Feb and hopefully Ephraim and I can watch it. If that ever happens.

And i got this this morning! oh mine, so much choco and so sweet! :x
