I have been eating the whole day

Just a short one. It's past twelve midnight now, and I have just reached home not too long ago. Im super tired but Im too full to head the bed.

I predicted that I m gona have a heavy lunch, so I decided to only eat half bowl of Tau Suan as breakfast. It was a really hot day and for the whole afternoon, I was at Big Eat Out! at Peranakan Musuem. Not bad, there's food, there's flea and there's culture tour.

Just upload a few. The full update of this event will be done in my food blog when Im not tired, not full and probably when I have finished my exam.

Wore the new high heels that I bought and it was a terrible mistake. When we reached City Hall, first thing we did was to head for the cheapest shoe shop to get a pair of comfortable shoes / slippers. I have been so used to wearing slippers, and dumb dumb me, go and wear something new when I knew that I have to do some walking today.

So i bought this:

Pretty Pretty, match my skirt. Im the LADY IN BLUE!~ wahahaha! But it's useless too. When i wore the high heels, i had two BIG 泡泡s on my last toes. Then when i wore this, the ankle 脱皮. So my toes had water, and my ankle had blood! well done! -_-

Lishan came with her bf and finally I get to see him! HAHA

Mark Lee was there too cuz he is the musuem ambassador and he will be bringing us around the museum.

And of course, my job is to eat, see and blog!

So in summary, four of us shared: Char Kway Teow, Hokkien Mee, Spicy Peranakan Pork Ribs, Banana and sweet cake & Popiah! My aunty and I had left over coupons, so we bought satay before leaving! GOSH!

Went home for dinner, and i couldnt finish my plate of rice, had little fish and vege and soup. Thinking that this concludes my day, the BEST is yet to come when Chris ask me to eat crab! How can i turn down this temptation when I am free and it's just at my house there! (Melben)

So it was lunch cum dinner for ah zhi and chris, and supper for me. Ate Butter Crab, Crab Bee Hoon and Steam Crab. I thought the Stream Crab was yummy! But i uploaded this butter crab photo cuz it looks nicer. haha.

And we were talking about how great it was to have a elder brother to take care of u, instead of a elder sister who simply is selfish and calculative. It's a pity I have none. And Chris said: "No need brother liao. You need a boyfriend." (or did u say i need a husband? LOL, i cant remember!)

As we discuss the pros and cons of staying single, she added: "There are some things that you cant do alone."

I stared at her and ponder very hard thinking if she was trying to say something dirty or stupid. Haha. But well, she listed a few good examples.

True, there are some things I cant do alone.
Just like now, I need a shoulder to lean on...

Eat from 930pm till 1130pm... And here I am, too full to sleep, to tired to study and im blogging. -_-

And i bought my school tee shirt!

Shuwan bought the red one, and i bought the green one. AND we can form a xmas tree! -_- I seriously dont think it's nice and i thought they should be creative enough to come up with much better designs. But well, since I m gona leave this school in 6 mths time (I HOPE! -cross fingers-), so i thought I would just buy and wear and keep it for rememberance. haha.

Yup, concludes all. And to prevent Shijie or Jon from haunting Ernest, and to prevent Ernest from haunting me in the middle of night asking me: WHEREEEEE?~~~, I hereby announce that ERNEST DOESNT HAVE A GF! HE ONLY HAS BF - BLACKFOREST BAND! LOL

10 things that are in my mind......

1. My ex student MSN-ed me 5 minutes ago, asking if I was on TV for the Hey! Gorgeous show 2007. He said there was a replay on Sunday, and he saw me in the radio room talking to Fiona and introducing the event. Gosh, that was so long ago. But his main concern was: "Fiona Xie pretty right?" -_-"

2. I totally lost the mood to continue mugging. I have spent my Thursday and Friday in school, supposedly to mug and watch some of the movies to prepare for Monday's exam but I was already in -offline- mood, and just rot my time away blogging, surfing net, doing masks, playing facebook... Gosh...i should stop thinking that it's only 20%...

3. I just receive a sadden news that my numerology teacher, Mr Peter Ong, passed away. I knew this man in 2005 when i attended an astrology class, and he did a short reading for me during a festival in 2006. Then Shuiling and I went to his house for a full life reading, which i felt he was very acurate. I was determined to learn from him, but his lessons always clash with my schedule. Finally, i learnt Numerology from him in May, and i was intending to attend his Palmistry class in December, but well, no chance anymore. My greatest sympathy to his family and I m sure Mr Ong has left for a better place :)

4. PSLE results was released yesterday. Hope my students did well, though i think it's very unlikely. One of them got only 166, with a B in Chinese. But well, it was okay for her standard. And she is the only one who remember Your Highness's existence.

5. Maxine scored 277, which is like OH MY GOD. she has done the Ow Family proud la, i think our genes are getting smarter as the generation gets younger. HAHA. Uncle decided to give all of us a treat at Pu Tian restaurant tonight. Gosh, i have been always wanting to try this restaurant and write a review about it.

The thing is, Daddy never mention a single word to me when i met him yesterday. And it was only when TingTing called me in the middle of the night then i realise there is a gathering. He called me to tell me about it, well, I decided not to go. Family gathering is getting more frequent this year, with C.Ng coming back to Singapore, to Thank-You dinner and now, celebrating Maxine's high aggregate score.

6. Adeline dreamt of me before last Sunday. Something good and funny. Hope dreams and reality arent the opposite. :) but thank you for dreaming of me.

7. I have been craving for Cape No. 7 movie （海角7号）and it's finally coming out! while i was on cab a few nights ago, i heard FM97.2 giving out many pairs of sneak preview tickets. I was hearing eagerly and hope they can ask question soon. But for the 20 minutes journey home, the DJ kept making announcements but nothing was asked! So disappointed. And i read the papers today that they will be having a sneak preview in White Sands tonight. I WANT TO WATCH!~~ Anyone?

8. I have been waking up at 8am sharp every single morning no matter how tired i was. my sweet lil baby XIAO HEI will, without fail, run into my room the 1st thing in the morning, to wake his tired biao jie up. -_- he is damn active and now i know why there is a need for 2 adults to take care of him. i get very tired after 30 minutes of playing with him. This little rascal loves to play with my lappy, act like a ultraman and jump around, take the calculator and throw, open the kitchen cupboard to peep the fragile plates, disturb me on every single meals, climb my double decker bed to reach for my toys etc etc. I dunnoe how can he run so fast, chasing after him is already a torture. LOL.

Nevertheless, I LOVE HIM :):) So here u are, 3 photos of him. Please pardon the quality. it's difficult to take photo when he moves every second.

9. I have been very honoured, to be invited by blog2u and the organisers (National Heritage Board & hungrygowhere.com) to attend this charity food event tomorrow called BIG EAT OUT!

A night that changes everything

他们带好了全部证件，本想延长 Visa，顺便申请 PR。可是因为昨晚的事情，他们决定提早回国了。


三岁的孩子，本来就是无知。没有犯下什么大罪，只是贪玩，下手为什么那么重？不喜欢小孩也好，心情不好也罢，那不就睁一只眼，闭一只眼咯。做错了，还死硬撑自己没错，不准任何人再提起此事。


小孩脸颊就因为你这一巴掌肿了起来，耳朵也红了，哭了一个小时。他只以为能和你打打闹闹，怎么知道你用“管教”当理由大打出手。在众人的面前，“啪”的一声就打了下去。他妈妈在场，他奶奶在场，他爸爸在场，我在场。眼睁睁就看那个耳光在他脸上。大家都愣了一秒。


小孩哭得那么惨，怎能不心痛？他妈咪哭了一整夜。来不到一个星期，就发生了这种事情，当然让她觉得这里不欢迎他们。爷爷呢，便在旁煽风点火，让舅舅的心情更不好受。


我们频频道歉也是于事无补。不是说管教不对，可是你可以选择较轻的方法，比如打手心或严厉责备，耳朵不是闹着玩的。更何况，他不是你的孩子，为什么要管那么多？


哄了他一整夜，直到半夜才能好好坐下来温习。可是到那个时候，我已经累得不行了。幸好最重要的考试早已过去，不然我可能会疯掉。



现在，我终于知道为什么阿姨那么呵护着小时候的我了

I may have told some of you that I don't trust fortune telling. But in actual fact, I still believe that tarot has its magical powers. I mean, among the 78 cards laid out and you just happen to pick that particular card over and over again, or a card seems to appear in every other readings, doesn't it conveys a meaning?

Actually, it is ME that I don't believe in.

Renena Nurture Cottage Graduation Ceremony 2008

Hosted Renena Nurture Cottage Graduation Ceremony 2008 yesterday, took time out of studies to help out with it. I just love working with kids. (But why am i always teaching upper secondary?!) Each and everyone of them is so cute! HAHA

Chris and Ah Zhi spent the whole Friday night doing up the backdrop. Pretty isnt it? How can we not take photos with it! HAHA. This dress i am wearing is from basar malam, 10 bucks only! so cheap! i love pink! :)

This is my favourite darling. Her name is Ariel Ruan Xin Ya, i call her YAYA. She is my sweetheart, not because she has the same name as my Minnie Mouse ok, or perhaps she is as cute as my Minnie Mouse. If one day her Mummy dont want her, I want! :) hugs! love her most! :))

My God Daughter Number TWO! (gosh, i hate my eye bags!) This cute lil Rei is a great performer! Too bad I forgot to take photo with my God Daughter Number ONE. *cough*cough* my BAOBEIs, please remember to take care of me when I am old. *cough*cough*

If I am left on the shelf, I will just set up an orphange or something! LOL

Who is he? I also don't know. Maybe he sees me hosting for the show and he insisted on taking tonnes of photos with me, and refuses to take photo with his Mummy. And he insisted on sitting on my legs. I attract toddlers too yea! LOL, and a tiger somemore!

Jackie! He has graduated and will be going to Primary School next year, together with my God Daughter Number ONE. I see him from small small when he enter cottage, and now he is leaving. It's very sad. Especially when they sing "再见老师", i controlled my tears. He didnt show his teeth cuz he is growing new teeth - bohgay.

Teacher Khin and ME! She came from myanmar, and i can say, she is the most perfect woman i have seen. perfect qualities, motherly figure, patient etc, everytime i talk to her, i always felt like i am talking to an angel! LOL

Unfortunately, that's all the photos i took yesterday. cuz everyone was busy and we forgot to hire a cameraman to do the photo taking! :(
