We felt that other seminar groups were too boring as they just yak and yak and yak from the ppt slides, so we decided to do something FUN by acting out a scene from the play each!
Basically this play (Emily of Emerald Hill) is a monologue done since 1983 about this Pernakan lady and her life. Written by popular writer Stella Kon, this play was performed over 130 times all over the world and artistic director Ivan Heng from W!ldrice acted it in 1991. It was rather unique because he is a man acting as a woman on stage for two hours. But it's damn hilarious and dramatic lah.
To my surprise, Jalyn Jie acted the chinese version of Emily before too!
So anyway, kind TingTing lent me her CURLY WIG, so I travelled down to Woodlands to collect it from her, buy all the Nonya kueh kuehs n stuffs before heading back school to prepare. Everyone in the group is supposed to wear Kebaya!

Do we look like LITTLE NONYA? haha

MY WIG! SACRIFICE! I wore it to act a scene. NO FACE LIAO! -_-

YAY! It's over!
Well, next up there will be another final drama performance lah! I think I will be playing Kuo Bao Kun's LAO JIU again! LOL! Whooo... so fun to scold all the hokkien vulgarities on stage!
Lishan and I will be going to watch 天冷就回来 in April. This semester I have watched alot of plays. Well, more expensive than movies, but Im sure it's more meaningful than movies!
By the time all drama lessons ended, it's already close to 7pm and Im damn tired. Rushed back school for editing. It's Shuwan's birthday on Friday! So we celebrated for her in AVID! LOL. Sadness, birthday girl camping in Editing Suite for FYP during birthday. But well, we gave her a lovely surprise!

ALL SHAGGED! But HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
The end is near. I know. But it's getting steeper to reach the finishing line as the days go by. The unedited FYP report Draft 1, the oral defense, the dumping of video, the drama performances, the assignments, the theatre report, and when I thought it's overpowering enough, here comes another to-be-completed research paper which was promised.
Humans are always not satisfied. Wanting to do better in reports, wanting to look prettier, wanting to be a better teacher, wanting to edit better for fyp, wanting to be cared for, wanting to be loved etc etc.
But at this moment, I felt blessed.
With Chris's sudden encouraging sms yesterday that gave me an energy booster to stay awake for more than 36 hours.
With Lishan listening to my crap in her MRT ride back home.
And a lovely surprise that I received when I went tuition centre this morning.

LOVE LETTER AND WANG WANG BISCUITS FROM FUNGIE!
This silly girl, came down to tuition centre on Friday to ask Chris to pass it to me. She even drew two cute little girl in the love love letter! :D During secondary school, Fungie and I write letters to each other almost everyday, even though we meet everyday. So memorable!
Nowadays, nobody write letters anymore.
10 years of Friendship.
No kidding.
