Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails....

Ellenborough Market Cafe

We didn't make it to New Zealand, so we decided to spend our day watching a movie and eating a delicious meal together as a consolation :)

Watched THE RAMEN GIRL in Bugis (Im Sorry Lishan!). Supposed to be a free movie for both of us as we did a survey in school and were given a free Shaw movie voucher. But being the messy one, I obviously lost of voucher.

The show is about this young American woman who was suddenly left alone in Tokyo after her bf broke up with her. Seeking to console herself, she winds up hanging out in her neighborhood ramen shop.

After observing the magical effects of the shop's ramen on the customers, the woman convinces herself that her true path in life is to become a ramen chef. So she persuades the shop's tyrannical Japanese master chef to teach her the art of making ramen. And although their relationship is contentious and rocky, they both discover the most important ingredient of all - that each ramen bowl must contain a universe of feeling and truly be a gift from the heart.

Well, it was a mediocre film lah, just find the title attractive so we watched it.

Then headed to Swissotel @ Merchant Court near Clarke Quay for our dinner buffet! Ade says Ellenborough Market Cafe has good crayfish that everyone is up on the grab, so we were there to try them out! :)

This girl, wear until so pretty! I thought she would be shabbily dressed as usual, so I decided to be shabbily dressed. She thought I would dress prettily, so she dressed prettily -_- we don't have any mo qi lah...haha

We made our reservation early! Now waiting to go into the restaurant. Look at the queue!

Ade taking salad...

And this aunty dissecting the BIG fish...

LET'S TUCK IN!

Highlight of the night! We missed the 1st round, all kiasu singaporeans are really fast at grabbing this yummy crayfish! And of course, how can i lose out! SO we hang around the crayfish area and once the chef brings out freshly cooked crayfish, ahem ahem, aunty ow is in action! :p

Supposedly to be my favourite. But I only ate a bowl of it, cuz it tasted sour to me. And opz, i think the photos look rather disgusting.

We weren't supporters of oysters. Don't really know how to appreciate them. One is okay, two is too much. The smell and slimy feel that goes into my throat makes mi ...
Total bill: $89 bucks

Then we walked around Clarke Quay. Gosh, my Saturday and Sunday are all spent in Clarke Quay. Note: I am USUALLY taller than her. Just that she was on heels yesterday. LOL! See, she wear until so pretty...

Ade has been real gu-niang, until we met a few ah bengs who were trying to disturb us. And she started to walk like a man again -_-"

Clarke Quay is really a pretty sight.

We were playing with Panasonic Lumix LX3. Aiyo, when I thought I have decided on which camera to get, now Im changing my mind again... RAH!

Somehow, I didn't feel as sore as before. The idea of waking up for gym in the morning, reading up on camera reviews, going to tuition centre, playing restaurant city in FB etc feels good. (Although it could have been better) This is a well deserved break. But I still hope to MIA when it comes to writing the forever-not-ending Research paper. If not, life's great.

And to Ade, thank you for yesterday's dinner, although I really think there's no need for the treat :)
