LWS Music Concert

After the hot yoga on Saturday, Fungie & I went to Republic Poly to watch Lee Wei Song Music School Concert. I have attended so many music school mini concert and i must say this concert is the most impressive. Make me so tempted to go there and learn singing and dancing!

I was horribly late and made fungie wait for close to one hour! SORRY MADAM! :( The taxi fare from town to woodlands nearly killed me. $27.80!! FAINTED. We initally wanted to eat ichiban but it was soooo long queue. So we had Swensens in Causeway point.

Then took a cab to Republic Poly. The taxi uncle was driving very. very. very. slowly.




We are so proud (amused, more likely) that our secondary friend is the MARKETING DIRECTOR. so we cant stop ourselves taking photos with his name! LOL

And i met YO YO & QI JIAN at the concert too! So miss the people at SRMC!



THE CONCERT~

After that must cam whore lah. So we go around the poly trying to take emo shots but failed! but im loving the pinhole mode in my LX3.




Fell asleep immediately upon reaching home. The hot yoga made me extremely tired.

Hot Yoga - No No!

I never like yoga. Be it Hatha Yoga or Hot Yoga or any sort of yoga, I never like it. 

Everytime I enter my fitness club, the first thing I look at, is the class schedule for aerobics classes. And if no classes are available, then either I leave the fitness club OR force myself to go for Pilates / Yoga in the other studio. 

I know everyone is saying, yoga calms your mind, tones your body blah blah blah. But to me, holding on to a posture is not only painful BUT boring. 

Actually after I finish my A Levels, I started my fitness regime in TPY Community Centre doing yoga. I met a very wonderful teacher and that was the most enjoyable yoga lesson I ever have till now. I can literally sleep on the mat during relaxation. 

Then I move on to Amore Fitness - A club for all women and fell in love with the aerobics classes. Because the instructors choreographed all the steps and every lesson is different. 

Then because of some very dumb reasons and their horrible system, I was blacklisted and they are like loan sharks, keep asking me for money. 

Then I move to Fitness First at AMK Hub and the story continues now. It has been 1.5 years. 

I'm not a 喜新厌旧 person. I stay in Amore for 4 years and though I'm at Fitness First now, I still prefer Amore. 

In between, I sign up for Gaia Yoga cuz I found back the yoga teacher who taught me in TPY CC. And that place helps me very much with my back problem. But the boss was a horrible lady and gave all her smiles to the rich Ang Mos and leave us with grumpy and fierce attitude that I decided to give it a miss

In between I also sign up for Absolute Hot Yoga & I only went or a few times and wasted the package. One thing is, the place is at Tanjong Pagar - too far. And I was really dreading myself to the hot yoga everytime. So I give up. 

And so today, I decided to went for a hot yoga trial  Bikhram Hot Yoga. I knew I won't join. But I thought I haven't been doin yoga for a long time, so I wana go there to sweat it out.

- Its the usual same 26 yoga poses done twice each time and i was already panting on my 3rd pose
- the instructor just keep talking n don't do the pose at all. So have to open the ears and listen. 
- the mat is so rough that my knee cap po pi. Everyone is sweating so profusely on the mat and I was wearing sports bra only. I'm so scared there's pimples on my back. 
- the way the bathroom is built is horrible. No way to hang clothes inside the bathroom. 
- the holder can only hold one shampoo. Imagine I have a shampoo, conditioner & facial wash. 
- they don't have a door to each bathroom. All use bathroom sheets! Everyone can peep in and see u shower. 
- my sportswear has no place to put -> all put on the floor -> all wet -> no plastic bag to put all my clothes.

And and and,  

ONCE AGAIN, I FELT GIDDY! It's like staying in the 40 degrees hot room for 1.5hrs, there is like no oxygen. I can hear my heart beating so fast. My sweat is dripping profusely. And I'm as pale as a piece of paper. 

The worst thing is: the instructor don't let me get out of the room until the whole class end. 

I feel like I'm dying there seriously. 

Just like the first time I went London Weight Management, I felt giddy, want to vomit, pale like piece of paper. And I ask the therapist to shut up and let me rest. LOL

缺氧！缺氧！缺氧！

No more hot yoga for me. No more. 

Now I'm feeling so not well. Plus the heat from the horrible sun. 

Damnit. 
    

Bedok Food Trail

Last week, Brad & I went for Bedok Food Trail to celebrate our belated birthday. We conquered chwee kway, soya bean, laksa, char kway teow, rojak, kway chap etc. It's a pity that we missed out the chicken rice and nasi lemak.

LETTER TO TOWN COUNCIL

To: The Management

Im writing in with regards to the uneven cement floors at the lift upgrading area in Block 214 Ang Mo Kio (Lift B).

Just yesterday morning, approximately 8am, i was on my way to work and i fell down at the uneven cement floor right in front of the lift upgrading area.

The lift upgrading is done for Lift A but still in progress for Lift B. However, the filing of cement is done and the tiling of the floors has not started. There are deep footprints etched deeping into the cement, hence creating a "hole". I was wearing slippers (not heels) and I tripped and fell.

It was only 8am but the lighting is so poor due to all the coverups for renovation.

I was carrying a bag with laptop and camera in it and in my hands are my card holder and my iphone. After the fall, my iphone is scratched, my laptop compartments came off and it cannot be switched on anymore.

And my hands are scratched, so is my knee cap. My ankle is sprained. Thank goodness im wearing long pants, if not i think it would be a much deeper scratch.

I have attached the photos to illustrate what I have written above. Im writing in with the hope that you will speed up the tiling process or at least make the place brighter as there are alot of elderly in the area and if they were to fall, the consequences are definitely more serious than what i have experienced.

Kai Bin's 21st Birthday

Celebrated Kai Bin's birthdat @ SAF Yacht Club on Saturday. IT WAS ULU BUT BEAUTIFUL PLACE. The only sad thing was, we can't catch any sunset there. But the sky is gorgeous.

Shit, how come when Im 21 years old, i never thought of holding my birthday at such a beautiful place. Instead, i held it at essential brew which is CLOSED DOWN ALREADY. rah.

If there's a couple hugging in the centre or a bride, this picture would be perfect.

Krist and I were playing with our digital camera and she taught me how to achieve this effect. The sky wasn't dark at all and it wasn't so beautiful. I feel so stupid that i don't know to use my digital camera to take pretty pictures :(

The kids were amused by the prawns and fishes in the bucket. It's caught by some uncle. And i have fun talking to these kids.

Then we went to the chalet just above. So shuang, celebrate birthday finish can go up and sleep. the air con is solid. I want to organise my own BBQ someday. Throughout my 24 years, i never organise BBQ before!

Awfully chocolate cake! isit call awfully chocolate? how come it makes the chocolate sound awful? -.- or was it call awesome?ah

Burnt Out

This week passes super fast. Everyday I step out of the house early in the morning and comes back home after 10pm.

I have been going on course since Monday till yesterday from 10am to 5pm. And even though I get to learn new things, the amount of work that I have remains the same. So imagine Im away from my desk for 7 hours and still have to come back after class to do it.

I think im mad. I have been keeping myself unbelievably busy and loves the feeling of pushing my body to the limit. And then fall ill, then rest and cycle repeats itself.

I love this job and quoting wad a senior journalist said yesterday, we must treat this job as a lifestyle. i do agree with her, and no wonder there are so many single and fierce female editors who work 15 hours a day.

But it's good to be kept busy. At least i wont have the time to think about other things or bother about others.

- saturday i went back office to work.

- sunday i went pixar and caught a cold.

- monday i started my course and took MC in the afternoon because i was running a fever again. This fever and cold and cough thing never seems to get out of my body. The stupid clinic in the office needs to make appointment! WHO THE HELL MAKES APPOINTMENT TO SEE DOCTOR WHEN YOU ARE SICK! what if somebody fainted on the spot, does the fainted man have to make appointment to see the stupid doctor?

and the stupid clinic took a 1.5hours of lunch break! from 1230 to 2pm! i stood outside the clinic at 145pm, looking at the long list of appointment and i must wait till 4.15pm to see the stupid doctor, forget it man. go home and see even better.

slept, woke up and went for dinner at 3 monkey @ holland village.

- tuesday on course. after that head back office to complete my dumplings festival article which is published today. so reached home at 930pm?

- wednesday on course. then headed to brewerkz at bukit timah to celebrate weimin 27th birthday. reached home at 11pm.

-yesterday on course. went for tuition after that at woodlands. reached home at 11pm.

basically, im burnt out.

I want to cry already

I want to cry already. It's already 9.15pm and I'm still in office and I haven't finish my work. No matter how fast I type, I still cannot finish. I skipped lunch and now I'm tired and hungry.

I have been trying my best but there just seem so much to do. Plus I will be away on course from Monday to Thursday, if I never finish I will miss my deadline.

I LOVE CITY SQUARE!

Ok so last Saturday, 9 of us gathered at Kranji MRT station, with our passports in the bag, all ready to go Malaysia. It was my FIRST one day msia shopping trip with friends and im so excited about it!

They met up the day before at Icing Room to make a cake for me.So sweet!

With my new camera, i seriously don't know why, but the photos doesn't turn out satisfactory at all! :( And yea, we were all outside This Fashion cutting cake and sharing the cake using 2 spoons.

It's a teddy bear cake! And of course, there's some secret reasons why they made this! But i must say, they are really creative and talented lot! Can link the body to the hands so naturally! thumbs up! thanks guys!

But the time we reach chity square (not farrer park, but malaysia), it was already 2pm. so we lunched at tong shui. aiyo, the sambal fried rice weiting recommended so yummy! i like! and im missing it now...

Then the girls head over for manicure and pedicure session while the guys find their own entertainment. Wah this one i must really complain. I started doing first and i only requested pedicure. I started at 3pm and i ended at 5.30pm can! u noe why, cuz a super junior manicurist did it for me. i requested to do french and she go and colour the white colour part thick thick, machiam like dividing my nails into half like dat. but i nv complain first ok, i just let it pass and let it dry. then who knows my nails complain, so the first toe and 2nd toe got entangled and the pedicure was spoilt la, so the junior come and redo for me again. Then go into drying machiam, my nails complain again, the first toe and second toe stick onto each other AGAIN! damn amused. so this one the most senior one come and "save" it. how she save? she use the white colour to paint over the spoilt part, hence the white part just got thicker.

this time, i 发火 liao. i just give off a black face and say:"不是很美，不过如果你要这要，就随便lo!" then i put inside the drying machine and damn angry.

heng the boss was nearby, heard it and turn around. the stupid senior still complain to the boss LOUDLY and said: "她说不是很美wor!"

please la, paint until like that, which asshole will tell u its pretty. comeon, u are a manicurist for so long, im sure u noe whats real beauty and whats trying to cover shit right.

Heng, the boss see liao really not nice and she personally come and redo for me. so in the end, i got a satisfactory french toe nails but i stayed in the shop for so long.

So we shopped a bit and i bought a nude pokka dot top that i really really really love. when i first saw it, i want to but it immediately! RM$29.90! LOVE!

Dinner was at Taman Sentosa, a few us shared cab and head there. But taman sentosa was super big and of course, my group got lost. and in the end, we walked for 15 mins before reaching the seafood place.

But all is worthwhile, we had super lotsa fresh and yummy and CHEAP seafood! each one pays RM$36+! loves!

Shall go there shopping more! :D

Then on my birthday, meet up with ade, pebbles and rj for dinner at wild rocket! aiyo, sorry i dont know why i pick so ulu place again! but the food is nice ok! fusion, modern singapore food!

Headed to KBOX, sunday night only $8 NETT! and they first gave us a super big room, enough to hold 20 people ok!

Got home shower and knock out. as hug myself in the blanket, i felt something at my legs there. The next day i check it out and it was my bday present from ahyi! :D

Versace perfume and avene toner! LOVE LOVE! thanku ahyi, i love u! :D

And URS also gave me 55% birthday voucher! with a new pedicure, i went to buy shoes!

NICE RIGHT! Original price $59.90, 55% discount so around $27 nia! I SO LOVE IT! heck the 2.5 inch heels, i will manage! LOL

And a bling bling sandals! i think after i bling my camera, im so in love with blings, so i bought this the next day! hohohoh!
