Aries male – he hopes to attract a woman who is as committed to her feminine side as he is committed to his masculine side – so, don’t you cuss or swear, don’t you behave in an unladylike manner. He, more than any other man, believes in “love at first sight”. He tries very hard to connect to the females.
Aries female – she does not intend to fall in love and she is in no hurry to take that walk down the aisle and thus men view her as a challenge. She is attracted to the silent type. In her younger days, she tends to hook up with older guys. In maturity, she prefers the younger ones.
Taurus male – he is likely to create the illusion that he needs you and that he cannot live without you. After all, he wants to avoid having to take an active role in a relationship, preferring it to be on “auto-gear”. What he wants in a woman is a willingness to build her world around him, to serve his every need. He generally values intelligence and personality over looks.
Taurus female – likely to marry her childhood sweetheart. Usually, the boyfriend will manage her business or talents and she’s okay with that because in her perspective, he manages her business (and her) because he recognizes that she is to be cherished and tended to.
Gemini male – he is a party going man (regardless of age) and wants to settle with a hometown type of girl or a girl of the same background. This is an easy man to love. When he falls in love, he expresses himself by taking on the role of the “big brother”, breeding familiarity and presenting himself as “husband” material. What he wants is a family home, that he never had with his parents.
Gemini female - what she wants is to be intellectually stimulated, to find a mate with shared interests and hopefully professionally interests as well. She will integrate herself into her mate’s family, seemingly becoming a sibling. Usually she chooses a mate who will “surrender” to her and may feel “connected” to a guy who’s that wee bit “soft” and yet it is strong and sensitive.
Cancer male – he will expect to not have to deal with the daily domestic chores including paying the bills and so he seeks a female who will “help” him build a home. He seeks a love that’s somewhat symbiotic, one that turns him from boy to man, helping him to realize his potential which he is unable to achieve on his own.
Cancer female – tendency to marry early, usually marrying her “first love”. She wows the man so that he grovels at her feet, making him feel like a MAN – big strong, and protector. She is “touchy feely”. After marriage, she can “develop” a dominant streak.
Leo male – he wants a woman who believes herself superior, looking for a power hungry female, a dynamic woman in her own right, strong (tough) yet connected with her feelings, loyal, independent, haughty diva in public but a complete opposite in private and so he has a hard time finding the right one. Ultimately it is the woman who is powerful in her own right that captures his heart.
Leo female – she’s highly truly devoted and wants the same in return from her man and so she puts him through the emotional ringer, testing him and in time, she learns to back off (this is in her interest). She is attracted to high powered men i.e. movers and the shakers. Leo female finds the man she wants when she least expects it – when she’s chasing her ambitions.
Virgo male - tendency to become involved with women who are willing to submit to him, to his need to mould her. He can be morally exacting, expecting a girl to be squeaky-clean (reputation wise). A Zen like environment is preferred, for his mental health.
Virgo female – she treats a man like a lord or master and is attracted to intellectuals, poets, writers. Tendency to hook up with older men (much older men), making herself useful to her man, seeing herself as his healer perhaps? A man who has “made” himself, with no “need” or gaps for her to fill – is a mate that’s most suitable for her.
Libra male - his primary goal is unity with another person. Love, to him, is a meeting of the minds and so he is attracted to intellectual and independent females. The love and appreciation he bestows on his partner can empower her to great heights, great achievements, as he bestows only love and being loved. He doesn’t seek to control but to foster independence. His wife has (usually) divorced parents.
Libra female – she hopes to find a mate of equally superior quality, finding a man’s self sufficiency attractive. Her own agenda is to fall in love with a true friend and equal, one who shares her views, her everything. She may give her husband a “makeover” – what to wear etc
Scorpio male - he wants his life partner to need no one else but him, and so their lives will be anchored only around them, excluding all else. He wants to know you, searching for your heart (essence) to see if you’ve a heart of gold so that he can emulate you. He looks for one who will not allow him to behave with indignity or beastly.
Scorpio female - what she’s looking for is actually a mate with whom she can build a life. Show her you’ve got brains and you’ll have gotten her attention. “Common” interests etc does not rate very highly in her books. You must be prepared to lose your soul to her and she will try her best to help you fulfill your every dream.
Sagittarius male – he is very romantic and effusive (perhaps a little over the top). If you are flamboyant or famous, it makes him want you even more, because of the excitement it brings into his life. Be prepared to go along with his plans for your life together. He may shower you with gifts, surprise trips or holidays or melting you at the heart with roses.
Sagittarius female - she needs a partner who is as dynamic as she, i.e. wealthy (materially and in spirit), professionally successful, sound mind and body, and moral values. She prefers older men, foreigner, northerners. She usually relocates. She is one who needs a lot of attention – physical, financial and most importantly, emotional.
Capricorn male – he is attracted to women with traditional values and ideally, she should come with old money. Because of his penchant for tradition, he also sees the woman in a traditional role at home, who does not question his authority or movement. He sees marriage as convenience – he needs a maid after all.
Capricorn female - when choosing her man, she sniffs out the ones who have the “x” factor. She is usually devoted, loyal, deeply loving and expecting too little in return. She is one of the lowest maintenance (emotionally speaking) females. She doesn’t see a man as being a ticket to a free meal (she prefers to pay for her own meal, thank you very much). Even when married, there’s a part of her that she keeps secret – she needs space.
Aquarius male – he wants blind devotion and so he looks for a devoted partner who gives him his freedom yet he demands she worship him. To keep the relationship, put him on a pedestal and keep him there. Even after years of marriage, he may suddenly announce his intention to divorce his wife, and usually either for younger women or men.
Aquarius female – can be said to bring fortune to her man. Goes for the unusual type of guy, drawn to the non-academic types, attracted to the hands on types (probably from technical or art stream, and not likely to be science stream grad). She’s also attracted to the rugged ones. But her “goody 2 shoes” manner also serves to anger the man, turning him into a monster. Tendency to marry Frankenstein or the ugly character of “Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde”.
Pisces male - may also be attracted to flamboyant types, attention seeking types, loud and bawdy characters. He also prefers older women is because he feels that she would understand his absences (which are rather long periods of time). He has almost no expectations of his partner. This man shows disapproval by ignoring you, by not giving you attention.
Pisces female – eventually marries one who will treat her like a princess, who pampers her and who is her sanctuary (emotional). She looks for soulful, sensitive and vulnerable men – the “soft” type. Subconsciously or perhaps unconsciously, she sees herself as the fish in the fishbowl and he is the one who cares for her and gives her whatever she needs.
