Although not all her omelets are in good shape, I ate the nicest looking one and took a picture of it!
TA-DEH!

其实用心煮的菜是最好吃的!
That was a really nice dinner. Thank you sweetie!
An indian aunty was knocking on the tuition centre’s glass door last night. It freaked me out. When I didn’t answer her, she opened the door and walked in. She was with a small kid who was screaming and running around. At first I thought it was a parent who wanted to pay school fees. Here is our conversation:
M (Me!): (hiding behind the door) Yes?
IA (Indian Aunty): Excuse me, can you come out? I need to talk to you.
M: (still behind the door) Yes?
IA: My granddaughter is very sick, she is vomiting. Her father blah blah blah…
[For your info, the granddaughter was running around happily. She doesn’t look very sick nor does she look like she has just vomited.]
M: Er, I don’t have money, the manager took away the money.
IA: Please la, help me la. I need to bring her to see doctor. Can you give me some money. Her father blah blah blah…(When she talks about her son, I always didn’t manage to catch what she say)
M: (looking at her so-called very sick daughter) But your grandchild looks okay…
IA: (immediately grab her grandchild and make sure the child never runs around) No, she is really very sick…
M: Aunty, you go to the doctor there. They will help you.
IA: I go already. But they need me pay money. Please la, give me some money.
M: No no no aunty, I am sure the doctors are kind. Your child so ‘sick’, I am sure they will treat her for free. You go doctor there and see ok. Sorry, I cannot help you cuz I got no money.
Then the IA left unhappily talking to herself in some tamil language.
Stupid anot? If I give her money or leave my doors unlocked, she will definitely barge in. and her ‘sick’ grandchild doesn’t know how to act sick la.
How can a sick person come in feeling so excited and running around the reception table so happily?
It was a scary but interesting encounter.
