And so, all of us reach NIE by 8am to get ready for our final performance. Based on the same script, all of us work out a scene, gather actors and started preparation since last week. Some may use the same scene, but it's amazing to see the different interpretations.

1st to go, David'd directed play. 1st one already SPOIL MARKET. Kope four big APPLE desktop monitor, creative audience layout, win liao lor. ADM student 就是 ADM student. rahhhh. But his work is too abstract that nobody understand till he explains.

By Anan. He converted the fable into a realistic scene talking about how all Singaporeans are desperately looking for a job after graduation.

Melvin's play. Supposed to act for him too but I fell sick. Sorry :(

Eljin's play. Eh, monologue also!

Nicholas and Ishani's directed play, or rather, musical. The audio was screwed today, so they had a lot of problems.

Shu Hui's play. And I said my lines wrongly. OPS! :p

Johnson's play. He acted in his own play too! It was interesting to act in TOTAL DARKNESS. I cannot even see my own hands. So the camera also cannot see me. And in the last scene, I have to jump off a platform, screaming and running madly around the audience.
I hope I did okay for him. It's stressful being the lead :(

Alicia's play. Took me damn long time to memorise the script lah. So many lines, and I am so damn confused at times.
And the funny thing is, when i change to another role (masked character, as seen above), WE FORGOT TO ENTER STAGE! Until Johnson finish saying his lines and he stared at us, wondering why are we still standing there. So he said: "Is something supposed to happen here?"
Then we rush out. DAMN HILARIOUS LAH. Director Alicia cannot remember when to appear on stage and act. I just went on stage, laughing while I was talking. -_-

Jason's play. He got two outside friends to help me act.

Xiang Yu's act. SPOT ME!
I think I look like an alien, with headphones, chains and blindfolded. But this is cool. Her script got so little lines! All actions!
I like my last sentence:
I can see, I can hear, I can sense, I can understand. Most importantly, I will love.

Rachael's performance! She is the main lead for her performance too (see the girl in the centre)! This girl is going to immigrate to U.S. and get married in December after she graduate this semester. LUCKY GIRL!

Xian Bai's performance. He throws free chocolates to audience! HEHE!
And last but not least,
MY DIRECTED MONOLGOUE PERFORMANCE
A really BIG THANK YOU to my one and only actor, Johnson! I think he really did well. He didnt forget any lines despite the fact that it was a two page, single spaced script.
And thank you for agreeing to act (although I dont think he will see this post)! I think he regretted acting for me because he didn't noe that I want him to be a woman!
And despite me being so demanding, expecting him to act 3 roles together, expecting him to change clothes within split seconds, expecting him to act bitchy and shake his butt, expecting him to sound sexy yet manly at the same time, he agreed! Professional! No wonder he is one of the four heavenly kings of SCI! LOL!

Knowledgable old man (I wore this blouse in my other drama performance too! remember?)

Ferryman. The hat is too big and the ropes are heavy.
Finally, all performances are done. And I have SORT OF concluded my drama minor. Except that I still have two drama report to hand in by monday.
And group photos to conclude this module:

We are the future directors of Singapore! :D

This is our last lesson in NTU!
Lunch with the peeps before I went off library to do research for my drama report. The books are stacking up in my room already. Sometimes I think Im nerdy. Haha
Rush off to my final markting tutorial and handed in our marketing report. FINALLY!

Final group photo as Baohe was missing the other day.
RANDOM

Sometimes I think I am really fortunate to stay in this street of Ang Mo Kio. Because many times in a year, I will see interesting events happening along my street. Just like this one.
Ever seen it before? It's a temple pocession. A temple in my block will meet temple from other district such as Yishun (they are friends?), then they will have mediums from both places meeting each other. It's always a big, crowded affair. You will see different forms of medium, lion dance, dragon dance and various rituals.
It's a real pity that I didn't do this for FYP. I think this is a dying culture that is good to explore on. I consider this as an art. When i propose this and Reiki Healing, my group members think i am weird. -_-

It was Qing Ming on Saturday. Aunty made 纸包鸡 for dinner.

And to end off, I love my hello kitty pyjamas.
I feel happy when I'm wearing it :)
The mass food poisoning outbreak involving an Indian rojak stall at the Geylang Serai temporary market has claimed its second victim. How sad. And I just had Indian Rojak for supper with Andrew and Weibo last Friday in my market.
